USING CBD IN YOUR COFFEE

CBD can be used in such a variety of ways now so in this blog we are looking into using CBD in your coffee and why the two make such a good combination.

Coffee is of course one of the most common stimulants we use to get us through the day, but did you know that there are now ways to infuse your morning cup of coffee with CBD? The popular supplement goes great with coffee, with the infusion providing a welcome plant based boost to those mornings when you need a helping hand the most.

The active effects of coffee and CBD actually complement each other quite well, as caffeine can have a slightly undesirable impact on the body - causing anxiety or ‘twitchyness’ in some people. Luckily, CBD has anti-anxiety and anti-spasmodic effects, which is fairly handy for people who want the best from caffeine without the additional intensity.

The other great part about using CBD in your coffee is that the CBD and caffeine can balance the other’s effects - the coffee can help to make sure you don’t get too relaxed with your CBD boost, and the CBD equally helps make sure your coffee rush doesn’t put you in a position where you’re feeling overly hyperactive or tense from the effects of caffeine.

We do have to note that both CBD and caffeine can effect different people in different ways so you will have to try it yourself to find out for sure.

Using CBD in your coffee is even easier with our upcoming range of coffee additions which can be purchased off our site. A brew of coffee with a fatty addition like milk or coconut makes CBD absorb into the body much more effectively - so the more indulgent the better for fans of the more decadent bean brews, but equally a latte will also have a good enough fat content to get the CBD juices flowing. That's why we chose to use MCT ( coconut oil) as our carrier oil. These are a medium chain triglyceride (MCT) product which means they absorb fairly well in the body even with a lower fat content.

If you want to try the quickest way of getting a CBD infused brew, and love flavoured coffees, check out our newest range of coffee additions which include CBD.

Watch out for our three new MCT CBD oil flavours - chocolate and hazelnut, black forest gateau and raspberry, which will also be sold in coffee shops and can be added straight into your cup.

So whether it’s at home or on the go, using CBD in your coffee has never been easier - it’s one of the tastiest, fun and non-intrusive ways to take the CBD supplement, plus it’s a great excuse to use full fat milk or something even more scandalously fatty in your coffee.

Try it yourself and let us know your thoughts?
